PTSD and Trauma

Trauma doesn’t necessarily have to be what we see on tv, see in movies or read in books. Trauma can be viewed as any unhealed wounds or impactful moments we have experienced in life. The way our brains store these moments hold the answers to how to heal from them.

EMDR is one of the most effective treatments for this. It is different than talk therapy. It was created to target the area where the brain holds these memories, paired with bilateral stimulation (see device below). It works on clearing/neutralizing the way you think and respond to your past experiences, and to your daily stressors.
