Eye Conditions
While red light therapy has been studied for potential eye benefits, individuals with pre-existing eye conditions or those taking medications that increase light sensitivity should consult their healthcare provider prior to use.
Medications Causing Photosensitivity
Certain medications may increase sensitivity to light, including some antibiotics, diuretics, and retinoids. If you are taking any medication that increases photosensitivity, you must consult your healthcare provider prior to treatment.
Pacemakers and Implanted Electronic Devices
Red light therapy will not be provided to individuals with implanted electronic medical devices, including pacemakers, Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICDs), Deep Brain Stimulators (DBS), Cochlear Implants, Spinal Cord Stimulators, or insulin pumps.
